On November 9th, 12 Up and Going members gathered in the Fellowship Hall to enjoy the “Thanksgiving of Giving” gathering. Each member brought a covered dish for the meal. This type of meal is always a surprise as to what will be served but everything is always delicious; a perfect meal. Frances gave the devotions, program and conducted the business portion.
Each member was asked to bring 2 or more items for We Care. There was a total of 40 pounds of food delivered to We Care. They were most thankful for this contribution. It helped others have food for Thanksgiving. Special thanks to each of you for caring and helping others.
The December Meeting will be held on Thursday, Dec 14 at 11 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
Please bring party foods for sharing and 2 or more items (in lieu of Christmas Gifts) for We Care. Our goal for We Care for December is 50 pounds.
Bob and Gloria will have devotions and program.
