Lutheran Men

The Lutheran Men will be making Country Sausage on Monday, November 25, 2024. If you would like to purchase BULK sausage at $5.00 per pound, please place your order in advance. See a member of the LM or contact Gerald on or before Sunday, November 17th. The sausage can be picked up between 3:00 and 6:00 PM on Monday, November 25th in the Fellowship Hall.
The Lutheran Men will be sponsoring a Christmas Meal on Sunday, December 8th immediately following our service of worship. Every one is invited to attend, dinner will be provided. Please invite your family and friends to celebrate with us.

Men’s Bible Study

Our Men’s Bible Study will continue with its new time and day. All St. Jacob’s men are invited to participate in Bible Study on Monday, November 4th at 6:30 PM in the church office. Please bring your Bible. If you do not have one to bring, then one will be provided for you.

Lutheran Men BBQ

The Lutheran Men had a very successful BBQ on June 28 and 29.
Many thanks to all who helped and supported with our annual LM BBQ. Our fundraising helps support our local families and community with many needs.
All men of St. Jacob’s are encouraged to become a part of this ministry and lend your time, talents, and ideas for future ministries. Contact Gerald for more information on how you can get involved.

Lutheran Men BBQ

The St. Jacob’s Lutheran Men’s annual pork BBQ and Hash fundraiser will be June 28, 2024. The cost is $10.00 for a pound of BBQ and $10.00 for a Quart of Hash. You can pick up your order in the church Fellowship Hall on Friday, June 28th between 3:00 and 6:00 PM and on Saturday, June 29th between 8:00 and 10:00 AM. Please see a member of the Lutheran Men or contact Gerald by Sunday, June 16th to place your order.

The Lutheran Men enjoyed Ladies’ Night on Sunday, April 21st. We welcomed Mayor Koon as our guest speaker. The meal and fellowship was enjoyed by all.

The Lutheran Men have recently provided financial support for two families who have lost their homes to fire in our local community. They are planning the Easter Sunrise Breakfast to be held immediately following the Easter Sunrise Service.

The Lutheran Men will celebrate Ladies Night with a meal and guest speaker, Al Koon, who will provide an update on recent Chapin developments and future plans for Chapin.

The Lutheran Men hosting congregation Christmas meal immediately flowing the worship service on December 3, 2023. Everyone is invited and asked to bring a dessert. Please plan on attending as we kick off the Holiday Season with wonderful food and good Christian Fellowship.
