Posted August 30, 2018 By adminThe LW Group will be sponsoring a Congregational Fund Raiser Luncheon on Sept. 23 immediately following the church service in the Fellowship Hall. The menu will consist of Boneless Pork Chops, Green Beans, Brown Rice, Coleslaw, Desserts, and Drink. Eat in or take out will be offered. The price will be $8 per person and children 3 and under are free. Tickets will go on sale Sunday, Sept. 2 in the Fellowship Hall. The money from this fundraiser will be used to help Hannah and Bob with their medical bill’s which have become enormous due to their illnesses. The LW thank each of you for your support throughout the year. Without your help, we wouldn’t be able to help all the people that we do. These people are so appreciative of our help as sometimes it means food on the table, medicine or electricity for another month. We will also be helping with the garage sale with baked goods and a blood drive for Hannah on
Oct. 29. We will not have a meeting in September. (Don’t forget we are still collecting for We Care.)

Posted May 30, 2018 By adminWe would like to thank everyone for their support for our Congregational Luncheon Fundraiser on May 6. It was a big success. We had a total of 90 that enjoyed our meal of spaghetti and trimmings and delicious desserts.
We will be helping those in need in our congregation and community.
Our Ladies Brunch will be held on June 23 at 11 AM. Brunch will include quiche, fruit, strawberry spinach salad, cheese cake squares, brownies, and croissants drizzled in honey butter along with peach and regular tea. Tickets go on sale, Sunday, June 3 following church service in the fellowship hall and will be $5 per person, children 3 years and under are free. There will be door prizes and each lady will receive a special gift. There will be musical entertainment.
Please don’t forget your items for We Care. School will soon be out and the need will be greater in our community. Your help is greatly appreciated.
No meeting will be held in June.

As they fill up the offensive line, sideline, and drum line, your players, cheerleaders, and band members will realize God has given them His ultimate playbook. He wants them to join His team, train hard, celebrate salvation, and encourage one another. Get in the spirit with Game On – Gearing Up for Life’s Big Game!

Our group continues to help those in need, but we don’t always know who needs our help. If you know of anyone, please contact me or any member of our group. All donations have and will be greatly appreciated.
Also, we are still selling Happy Home Flavoring and Rada products. We are accepting orders thru April 8. We have a few books available to look at if you are interested and we have some flavoring and Rada knives on hand also. Contact Sandra or Phyllis to place an order.
Our Congregational Luncheon Fund Raisers will be held on May 6 and Sept. 23 immediately following the church service.
The Mother-Daughter/Friend Tea Party will be held on Saturday, June 23 at 4:00 PM. We will be serving delicious food and we will have some great entertainment.
We continue to collect food/items for We Care. Next time you go shopping, please pick up a few extra items and place them in the box which is in the
Fellowship Hall.
